7 up pound cake cake

7up cake is one of the many attempts by the major soft drink manufacturers to make their product a staple in the American pantry. yesterday i tried my hand at this cake and the results were mixed. the recipe called for an incredible amount of lemon and lime and in my opinion made the cake too acidic, while the small bit of frosting there was helped to even it out. it had to be baked in a bundt pan but unfortunalty all we had was bread loaf pans so i used that instead. the bake time was incredibly long and it still did not fully cook so i left it in the oven a little longer. from waht people told me it was prety good, but i did not like it that much.

if i were to make this again i would switch to maybe strawberry crush? Ive seen it in stores but there is no definite recipe that i can find.

if you want this recipe please let me know!

cribbage?

this week i was exposed to the most confusing game known to man. cribbage. the idea of the game is to gain points from different card hands and then move your pegs around the board. it sounds easy but trust me. its not. while in the ''process of learning it'' i was able to figure out that i am really really bad at cribbage. something i already knew. but who knows? maybe one day i will actually try to learn cribbage.

.
for now later.

4th for the guys

so every 4th people will spend fistfuls of money for things that last 30 seconds and shoot flaming balls. best day of the year period. so as we usually do, me and my family went to a fireworks stand today to purchase 40.00 dollars worth of fun, but while there i noticed something. there was an incredible amount of safe and lame fireworks, to the average guy your probably thinking ''what? i cant purchase 200$ worth of things that leave me stumpy?''. while this is going on the ladies are thinking ''what can i purchase that guarantees my safety as well as his eyebrows?''. so after all this thinking they end up buying only one or two big boy toys while spending the rest on an mudane amount of sparklers. so like all men he begins to formulate ways to combine 59 sparklers, electric tape, and a empty soda bottle. end result. a big flash that leaves you in a dazed stupor for the rest of the 4th of july. this cycle repeats itself every year with many families. that is the true meaning of the 4th. so to everyone have a safe and lame (i mean sane) 4th!!
